Docks are out!
Good afternoon everyone,
A huge thank you to everyone who took time to come out and assist with docks out this morning. Happy to say it was completed smoothly with many new and long time members pitching in to get it done safely and efficiently and enjoyed a great lunch afterwards thanks to Social and their awesome commitee for providing.
There are a few housekeeping notes that still need to be addressed. There were a number of dinghies locked to the docks this morning, they were cut loose and were either hauled out or if they had engines attached pulled up on the beach behind the oar shed. If you forgot to remove your dinghy and think one of these might be yours I suggest you make trip down and look after it!
We still need a couple of volunteers to deal with having the septic tank pumped and the garbage bin emptied one last time for the season as well. Let me know if you have time to help out and don’t forget the AGM coming up on November 17th come out make your voice heard and elect the new directors who will guide the club forward, remember this is our club collectively! We will be publishing a revised list of vacancies and current nominees in the coming weeks!
Hope to see you there and that your 2016 sailing season was a good one!
